Gondal-Sasangir (Gir National Park)

Sasangir - Ahmedpur

Velavadar park for Safari, which is a large piece of flat land with a lot of grass! Ideal for the Blackbucks and Nilgais (India's largest antelope). The Wolf is the main predator in the area. The Striped Hyena often steals a kill from the wolf. The Jackal roams about and is an opportunist. The Indian fox and the Jungle cat are also common in the area. Blackbucks are "Antelopes" found mainly in India. They are fast and are known to reach speeds of up to 80 km/hr. The male bucks are a distinctive black and white and have long twisted horns, while females are fawn coloured with no horns. After safari return to resort and night halt in Velavadar.

Sasan Gir forest. Check in to resort and after freshen up visit kamleshwer dam, which is very famous for crocodile breeding farm and in return to resort. In evening bird watching nearby resort. Overnight at resort.depart for Jungle safari in Sasan Gir Forest return from the safari and after lunch depart for local sight seeing in Jungle. Visit Devalia park, Water fall and Nalsarovar Lake, where some of the rare species birds which can be easily viewed here include partridges, wood peckers, sand grouse, cuckoos, bush quail, paradise flycatcher, eagles, parrots, and many more.
